Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare pan: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a large pizza pan or sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Form bottom dough ring: Open and unroll the two tubes of crescent rolls. Separate the dough into individual triangles along the perforations. Arrange the first tube of crescent roll triangles in a ring on the sheet pan with the wide edges overlapping to form a circle in the center. Optionally, use an upside down 6-inch bowl in the center as a guide.
  3. Add second dough layer: Layer the second tube of crescent roll triangles on top of the first ring, placing the wide edges toward the center to fill the gaps between the first layer. Gently press the bottoms of the dough triangles together to seal them.
  4. Add fillings: Distribute the cooked and crumbled Italian sausage, pepperoni slices, and diced Canadian bacon evenly around the thick ends of the crescent rolls, leaving about a ½-inch gap at the edges.
  5. Top with sauce and cheese: Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the meats, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Fold and seal dough: Carefully fold the pointed ends of the crescent roll triangles over the top toward the center, tucking the tips underneath the dough to secure and seal the ring.
  7. Add butter and seasonings: Brush the top of the assembled ring with melted salted butter. Sprinkle evenly with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the dough is puffed and a deep golden brown color.
  9. Cool and serve: Let the pizza ring cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
